Community Access

Community Access
Ability Lifestyles can arrange support for people to access and be involved in their community. The person’s NDIS plan will determine how much funding they have and the types of supports they have requested. We can help them turn that funding into a meaningful plan and provide staff to implement the plan with the person.

Activities can include: joining local activity groups such as men’s sheds and sewing circles; bowling and bocce; regularly accessing libraries and lectures, accessing swimming classes and literacy classes. The activities are determined by what is important to the person.
Skills training can be included in community access as well, such as money skills and road safety.
